If you have a white Doberman,  whether you are a club member or not, please send us a couple of lines about him  or
her so we can show people that these Dobermans are just another color variety  of the breed we all love and
respect, and that we, the owners who live with  these dogs day in and day out, are happy with our white Dobermans!
We ask you to send your dog's  registered name, your name, and your town and State or country. Submissions will
be posted to this web page.
Thank you.

"Over the course of the last  20+ years, I have raised and trained all colors of Dobermans and have had  extensive
experience with the whites. I have found them to be equally healthy,  trainable and enjoyable to be around as any
of the other colors, and I am  convinced that their difference is only "skin deep". Phantom's Ragtime White CGC
TT, Phantom's Prodigy BH TT CGC, Phantom's Star Cameo, Phantom's Ice Dancer,  Phantom's Lasting Impression
CGC and Phantom's American Graffiti are all dogs  anyone would be proud to feed." Lysa Seaman (Rector), Martin,
GA.
"Latte (Phantom's Café au Lait) is the best  dog we have ever owned. She is our constant companion and the love of
my son's  life. Latte adores children and nudges a friendly hello to everyone she meets."  Nadine, CA
"This Dobie has all of the good  characteristics of our last 3 black/tan Dobies. Very bright, brave, and lovable.  In
fact, we are so impressed that we are obtaining a white female. They are real  attention getters." Phantom's
Winter Knight, owned by Robert and Karen LeClerc,  Bullhead City, AZ
"She's just about as good as you can get.  She is super smart and very protective. She has saved my house from
being broken  into twice. When I lose Scarlett, my next one won't be spayed." Phantom's  Scarlett Seawright.
Ronnie Seawright, Hartwell, GA.
"Max the Wonder Dog!!!! Murray's Maximum  Security ll is such a great dog and my pride and joy ! Intelligent,
inquisitive,  attentive, alert, protective, funny, energetic, lover of people, well trained  and BEAUTIFUL!!
Regardless if he came from white parents or not, he is  everything the standard requires. I would put him up
against the best the DPCA  has to offer but because of his WZ registration, I certainly would never win  because it
isn't about the dog really, it's whose dog it is and who his parents  are. We are owned by 2 other Dobes and there
is no difference in how they look  or act. They're all Dobermans and we love them very much!" Gina Auwbrey,
Dillsboro, Indiana.
"I own two non/factored (1 red female and  one red male), two w/factored (one male and one female (both black
and rust),  and ---- one white, or better said a-Cream and White--(since he is not white in  that sense of the word.)
After observing these dogs over a period of 4 years I  do not see any difference in their capabilities to learn, love,
protect, and  display their own individual personalities. All five of them perform in agility  have earned their CGC's,
visit in nursing homes and have logged more than 30  hours each in therapy visits. The white one which is the main
issue of  controversy here, stands side by side in comparison to his colored comrades. His  hearing has been tested
and proven normal every year, he has an eye exam every  year and is CERF certified. every year (meaning vision is
normal). He has had no  medical problems and his temperament is stable." Wisteria's Vanilla Frosting and  Carol in
Aurora, In.
"I own three dogs, and I must say Blast is  quite wonderful. She is an energetic, playful, intelligent, happy dog, and
probably the easiest dog I have ever obedience trained. She brings me joy  daily." Mark L. Seaman, Phantom's Artic
Blast CGC. Martin, GA.
"I don't understand all the hoopla, because  all my dogs are Dobermans all the way through, from the tip of the nose
to the  end of the tail. Tasha, Heart and Liza are "Z-free". Max, Jenny, Goldie and  Shyanne are white. Zippy, Sara
and Ranger are w/f. I have not seen any  difference in their behavior or encountered any health problems with any
of  them. My vet is very impressed with the health and wonderful temperament of my  Dobe Family. Jenny (white)
has her CGC, has worked in agility and loves to visit  a nursing home, which was very exciting, so many hands to pet
her. I am happy  with all my Doberkids. A Doberman is a Doberman regardless of color. They all  have potential."
Maximillian International, Jenny von Lea CGC, Thor's Mystical  Angel Of Gold, Drachen's Chyenne Rainbow and
friends. Brigitte in  Wisconsin.
"I am the very proud owner of 3 white  Dobermans, 2 males and 1 female, Phantom's Scrimshaw CGC CHS, Alaska's
Earthquake CGC and Phantom's Southern Girl (Pending). I have owned Dobes for  about 5 years now, after being
terrified of them for most of my life. I will  never trade them for anything. Shawn (P. Scrimshaw) has been worked
and  qualified in obedience and is now retired at the young age of 7 and still  healthy. They are all great dogs,
obedient, loving, protective, everything a  Doberman should be. I have also owned Dobes that are black/rust and
red/rust.  The only difference is their color." D. Mayfield, Ga.
My white Doberman - Divinity's White  Chariot - is the love of my life. I have owned Dobermans over a period of
almost  25 years, and I have had only one black male that minded as good as she does. My  "Vinny" sleeps with me,
and if I want to sleep late, she does not bother me. She  has a very good temperament, and never seems to mind
when people come up to her  to admire her. People just stare at her wherever we are, and always comment how
beautiful she is. And I don't mean just dog lovers. I had a woman tell me that  she was a cat person, but she would
love to have a dog like her. She is so smart  and extremely loving. I can imagine how dull my life would be without
my  Divinity. Judy Ellis Whitewright, Texas
"My white Dobe, Luther, is so much like my  last, a black and rust that passed on the day my white was born, that I
think  they must have exchanged thoughts in transit. My white is the picture of health,  just like my black was -
extremely athletic and unbelievably graceful, even  compared to other Dobes. A great combination of beauty and
brains, sometimes I  look at him I can't believe he's really mine. And his accelerated vocabulary  (bike ride, water,
dinner, Scooter, walk, w-a-l-k, park, p-a-r-k, beach, dog  beach, puppy, puppy party, daddy, leash, ball, turkey,
chicken, yogurt, cookie,  bone, ear, truck, leash, ball, toy...you get the picture), is making it  challenging to find
words he doesn't recognize! He goes everywhere possible with  me, and people just can't get over him. He's about
to finish advanced obedience  after taking a few novice classes, and I'm proud to say he's the model polite  dog."
White Chocolate Terrormisu, owned by Laura in Orange, California.
"I am Kathy Shulaw, the proud owner of a  white Doberman named Dakota. I had only seen a few whites before I
purchased him  and I will tell you I heard a lot of false negative statements about them.  Dakota is very smart and
just as healthy as any other color Doberman. I would  never trade him for the world." Dakota's Rising Son, owned by
Kathy, Bloomville,  Ohio
"I had to have a white dobie when I saw a  picture of one in an ad in "Dog World". After getting Angel Mist home, I
had  already heard all the lies told about the whites and worried about them. But, I  found her to have a denser
coat than my black/rust and her eye sight and hearing  are as good as my other 2 Dobes. I am happy to say that
Angel Mist proved all of  the bad things I had heard to just be "LIES"! and put all of my fears to rest."  Pat
Norman, Cleveland,Texas
"Cicily is our second white doberman. She  is attentive, smart and easy to train. She also has very keen protective
instincts." Phantom's Cicily Sky, Owned by Rachael Haas and Kimberly  O'Brien
My white Doberman - Divinity's White  Chariot - is the love of my life. I have owned Dobermans over a period of

"In over 40 years of owning Dobermans, I  had never seen a white and was a little skeptical about the whole idea
when I  met the puppy who would become Bijou. She was outgoing, alert, very focused on  listening to me and
pleased to do whatever I asked of her. She was also a  beautiful dog and has become an excellent, flexible,
sensible, protective pet:  the best Doberman I have ever had." Phantom's Bijou Blanc v Natac, Linda Jenks,  GA.
"My Husband and I, along with our two small  children ages 3 and 6, are the proud owners of three wonderful white
Dobermans.  They are truely the most special dogs we have ever owned. Every one of our dogs  have excellent
temperaments espically with the children, are highly intelligent  and easy to train, have wonderful lush thick
gorgeous healthy coats, and with  ages ranging in 8 months to 4 years old not one of our white dogs has had to go  to
the vets unless it was for annual boosters, in fact our three white Dobermans  are the most healthy dogs we have
ever owned. I would definately recommend  anyone considering the purchase of a Doberman to seriously consider a
white  Doberman, they are so strikingly beatuiful and unique that they have become my  favorite color over all the
other colors Dobermans come in, I can honestly say  that for the rest of my life our house will never be without a
white Doberman  inside." VH's Karmikel's Giovanni, Karmikel's Aspen Extreme and Karmikel's Old  Blue Eyes.

I own a one-year-old white  doberman female named Princess Peruvian Caine. She is the first Doberman, or big  dog
for that matter, that my family has ever had. My mother was quite upset with  me when I brought the
four-month-old pup home from college. She has always  turned up her nose at any large dog, but now she loves "Kate"
as much as I do.  At first, my mother was worried that Kate would hurt her miniture poodles or  attack our cats.
That was not the case. Kate has never, ever acted aggressive  toward our small dogs or cats, let alone humans. In
fact, Kate now lives with  two miniture poodles that constantly bark and bite at her. One of them even  chases Kate
around the yard, yet she has never attempted to hurt them. Kate also  is gentle with our cats; she absolutely loves
inhaling that kitty fur even if  she gets clawed in the process. Kate is very smart and good with kids as well.  She
learned how to sit and lay down in only ten minutes! She also has a great  sense of humor. She'll do anything to make
you laugh. I love my white Dobe very  much and wouldn't trade her for any other dog in the world! Tomy  Elliott

I have been on the internet for the past 2 days trying to find out some
information for my white Doberman. Her name in our family is
WINTER. I must say searching the internet initially made me mad but, as
these past 2 days it has made me laugh at the SO called Doberman breeders
and kennels that think they know about these White Dobermans. The way they
make these dogs out like they are a reject to the animal population. All of
these people might feel this way about White Dobermans but, I am here to
tell you that I have owned many Dobermans in every color, male and female alike.
My White Doberman will be 2 years old this thanksgiving and she is not only
great with ALL kids she has the neatest personality of any Doberman I have
owned and her health is wonderful. My wife and I own 8 dogs at this time
including Winter. They range from a Timber Wolf, Italian Greyhound,
Golden Retriever, Pomeranians, Mutts and Dobermans. If any one thinks for
one second that a dog is not good unless they are approved by some Breed club
they are dead wrong. All I can say is I plan on breeding Winter with another
Doberman and even if she had 30 pups it would not be enough for all the
friends and family who want a white one. Everyone who visits our house not
only thinks she is a great looking dog but they all rave on her personality.
